Locum Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist 74 views

As a leading contracted agency to all NHS Trusts Lydian Temps are urgently seeking to recruit a Band 6 Locum Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist for Lisburn Health Centre, Trust wide.

1. Applicants must have a minimum of two years recent relevant postgraduate clinical experience, to include working with children
2. Professional qualifications required by Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
3. Current registration with R.C.S.L.T and license to practice.
4. Current registration with Health Care Professional Council (H.C.P.C.).
5. Professional indemnity insurance.
6. Applicants must be willing to undertake further specialist training.
7. Evidence of successful completion of specialist short courses e.g., Derbyshire Language Scheme, Hanen
8. Experience of the assessment and management of children and young people with a range of Speech, Language and Communication difficulties.

The candidate must hold a current full driving license which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.  This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
